Keeping in mind that your custom PhotoPOSTOS postcard is not complete without your photo on the other side, be clever and create something unusual on either your photo or a PhotoPOSTOS BEFORE you stick the two together...even apply eyelets, sew in your greeting, or die cut two different shapes and in two different places on your photo and on the PhotoPOSTOS and then sandwich thin pieces of decorative tissue paper behind the die cut areas..BEFORE you stick them together. You’ll surely puzzle the unsuspecting recipient and have them wondering how you added your special effects to a single postcard. You’ll know all along that your postcard was originally two separate pieces before you stuck them together. For the sake of history, be sure to keep bulky items mail art embellishments from the stamp and postage area for a clear postage cancellation by the post office. THE SECRET TO ACCURATELY POSITIONING a PhotoPOSTOS to Your Favorite Photo the Very First Time
PhotoPOSTOS uses a permanent adhesive that is neutral range on the pH scale. There’re a several methods of applying them, but following this suggestion may be the most efficient and will make positioning a PhotoPOSTOS to your photo accurate, quick and easy.
Here’s the trick:
After you crack and peel away the top strip ONLY of the backing...align the UNEXPOSED (the OPPOSITE end which you did NOT peel away) bottom edge and the bottom corners of label with same on the back of your photo. So, aligning the OPPOSITE non-sticky end which you did not peel away is the secret. Once aligned, stick down the sticky part, then peel away the remainder of the backing and carefully burnish the remainder of the card to your photo.
